Charnwood Eco Hub Upcycled Coffee Jar Terrarium Workshop

Join us on Saturday July 11th 2026 from 11am-1pm at Charnwood Eco Hub, SOFA Building, Clarence Street, Loughborough, LE11 1DY for a hands-on Upcycled Coffee Jar Terrarium Workshop, where you’ll turn used glass coffee jars into beautiful miniature ecosystems.

Working with reclaimed materials and natural elements, you’ll learn how to layer soil, stones, moss and plants to create a self-contained terrarium that thrives in glass. We’ll guide you through the process step-by-step, including how to choose the right plants and care for your finished creation.

This is a relaxing, creative workshop suitable for all skill levels, and a great way to explore sustainability through design while giving everyday waste a second life.

You’ll leave with your own finished terrarium, ready to brighten your home or make a thoughtful handmade gift.

You can book your place by scanning the QR code on the poster or click here. The workshop costs £10 per person for students / retired / low income, £15 per person standard price.
