Charnwood Eco Marathon Mors Bag Make
Join us on Saturday 26th September 2026 from 11am-1pm at Charnwood Eco Hub, SOFA Building, Clarence Street, Loughborough, LE11 1DY for our Marathon Mors Bag Make Session, a creative, hands-on workshop where you’ll design and make your own reusable bag using reclaimed and surplus materials.
Working with durable offcuts and repurposed textiles, you’ll learn simple construction techniques to create a strong, practical bag that’s perfect for everyday use—whether for shopping, work, or carrying your creative projects. We’ll guide you step-by-step through cutting, assembling, and finishing your design, with plenty of room to personalise your bag with colour, pattern, and detail.
This is a relaxed, beginner-friendly session focused on sustainability, creativity, and reducing single-use waste by making something both beautiful and useful.
You’ll leave with a finished handmade bag ready to take on your next marathon of errands—or anything else the day throws at you.
You can book your place by scanning the QR code on the poster or click here. The workshop costs £10 per person for students / retired / low income, £15 per person standard price.
