Charnwood Eco Hub Handmade Book Workshop
Join us on Saturday June 27th 2026, from 11am-1pm at Charnwood Eco Hub, SOFA Building, Clarence Street, Loughborough, LE11 1DY for a creative, hands-on Upcycled Bookmaking Workshop, where discarded materials are transformed into beautiful, one-of-a-kind notebooks and sketchbooks.
Using reclaimed paper, fabric offcuts, packaging and other salvaged materials, you’ll learn simple bookbinding techniques to design and assemble your own unique book from scratch. This workshop is perfect for beginners and seasoned makers alike, and is all about creativity, sustainability, and giving new life to forgotten materials.
Expect a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, plenty of inspiration, and the chance to experiment with texture, colour, and form while reducing waste in a meaningful way.
Leave with a finished handmade book—and the skills to keep creating at home.
You can book your place by scanning the QR code on the poster or click here. The workshop costs £10 per person for students / retired / low income, £15 per person standard price.
